Pretty sure I was just playing a BOT

I am quite new to doing anything other than playing a couple of simple games.
So I have questions.
Recently just played a game of Catan and one player was playing unhumanly fast, both me and the other player thought we were playing against a bot.
However there is no option for reporting this in the 'report player' section. I also couldn't find any option for such when trying to contact moderators.
Why is there no option for simply contacting moderators and asking a question that isn't in their scope of options? Instead it's "if you couldn't find this option you cannot query it"
I dn, seems weird.
Are bots an issue on this site?
I don't understand what you'd get out of it besides ranking points etc.

Skimmed your most recent 10 Catan games. Opponents took as much thinking time as you. Winners often took more thinking time.

Hello, Sorry, are you a mod?
Appreciate your reply. I actually wasn't asking about the thinking time, if you had a moment to answer the other questions that'd be great.

Hi
Not a mod too
But...
If you were not talking about thinking time being very fast, what was fast in your opponent's turn to make it a bot?

I’m not a mod. But like Grimwold says, if it’s not the thinking time that your opponent was taking then what was it? Possibly they distributed their thinking time in a skewed manner, taking a lot of time for some moves but lightening fast (“like a bot”) on other moves that you claimed to witness.
I only scrolled your 10 most recent game summaries and didn’t look at the individual replays and game logs for specific turns/moves. If you could share the table number of the one in question that might help others to help you.

Probably your opponent has animation speed set to "fastest" while your animation speed is "normal". (Also your opponent probably disabled confirmations.) See my post here:

No, but there is an issue with people pushing extremely silly conspiracy theories.
There have been a few players who have tested engines on the site, and obviously no-one with any sense would play Chess here as there is no cheat detection, but computers just still are not good enough at this for general use, and there is no real purpose to doing it except for those few pure abstract games where an already existing solution can be employed (and that would not be detected through speed of moves).

To many people, bots both operate and are programmed with magic.

Thanks everyone for your replies.
I didn't realise anyone could just go through your playing history (Please, I at least won one game out of my last ten lol).
As for the why, the player basically had the dice rolled as soon as I had ended my turn, not so much the thinking time being out of the ordinary.
I wouldn't have thought there were bots as what would be the purpose.. but glad we got all that cleared up.

I am puzzled. I don't play catan so I don't know in detail the game dynamics. But I thought that dice rolling was entirely on the server side.
Once it's you turn, do you need to perform some action in order to get your dice rolled?
