I'm looking at setting up a tournament, and would like to do 3-stage races. It looks like if you do manual stage selection, you will end up with the same stages for each round of the tournament. Is that correct? If so, I'd like to suggest that there be a way to set different manual stages for each round. Not a high priority, but something that would be nice!

An additional question to this. If the stage setting is random, is stage selection done per round, and each table plays the same stage(s), or does each table within a round play a random set of stages?

Are you considering a single stage to be a different round of the tournament, or is each round a 3 stage rally?

The stage selection for the entire rally is determined when the game starts. If you choose random stages, you won't know until the first stage begins. If you choose manual, you can see the stages (or at least their names) before starting. When you choose manual stage selection, you can choose which stages you want to include and in which order. If you wanted to run a tournament with the same stages across multiple tables, just make sure whoever makes each table chooses the same stages as everyone else for that round.
