Board Game Arena

On several occations, I havd stepped away on the last round of a terraforming mars game after I thought it was over only to come back to a kick and loss because my advance pass did not go through or there was one more pass needed at end game.
Has it been discussed to possibly to skip player turns first time instead of kick?

Or is it too abusable? Not really sure.

Not every game has the option of a pass. If the auto-pass isn't working, raise or vote for an existing bug and add your info to it. That said, I'd want to see how my game came out, so I'd be at least keeping an eye on the game until it's completely done anyway - it surely won't be that long, even if your opponent has multiple actions to do after your pass (and if they do, then sure, pass and walk away, rather than advance passing if you know it's buggy - and vote for the bug to fix it).
