Board Game Arena

I play A LOT of turn based games with friends and in the arena. One thing that me and my friends have found frustrating is that, unless you are the one who ends a game, you have to intentionally go hunt down games that have ended in order to see the outcome ("Oh wait, did the XYZ game end, who won?" Is a common phrase used)

I realize there is the notifications system that will show games that have ended. But I don't usually go to that menu. The typical workflow is to open BGA (usually on the phone) and cycle through the tables using the red "9+ tables waiting for you" button.

It would be amazing if there was an option that we could enable to force games that ended on/after another player's turn to appear in the cycle of "waiting" games, so that it is more convenient to see outcomes.

Does anyone else have this frustration? Is there something that already exists?

I seem to recall trying that with Challengers, and people HATED it.

It came down to:

A. People don't realize they need to acknowledge the final turn.
B. Or, people forget, and get booted out of a game they already won, which turns into a loss.


Or maybe there was some other play pattern, but people really seemed to dislike it, so I stuck with the current system.

At least a "see final situation" button would be nice.

I like when games walk you through the final scoring. Let's Go To Japan is a good example.

Plus one for this. I hate when a game ends and all I can see is if I won or lost with no score breakdown. I know replay is an option, but I feel like it is easy too many steps just to see the end state of a game.

You can report the original post as off topic and suggest where you think it should be moved. But I've only ever had posts asking questions about specific games moved to that game's forum that way. YMMV.
