Board Game Arena

I like the game, I'm not really interested in playing it 2p as a zero sum game.
If you look at BGK, 2P is the least favorite player count and 4p is a clear favorite.

Most games launch with 2p arena because matchmaking can be tough for newer games.

Less kingmaking?

Far too many good games on here are ruined by 2p arena. Ticket To Ride, Kingdomino, etc.

I think this is a game where you have to embrace the chaos. It doesn't shine as a deep strategic 2p game.
And yeah, sometimes it feels like people are ganging on you.
Either because you are winning, or because they take revenge on previous attacks or because you have left yourself more vulnerable than the opponents or whatever reasons.

Since when is BoardGameGeek "BGK"? And why? — I've only ever known it to be BGG...

Skellies, elves and Spirit Ghouls are un-counterable at 2p.

I came here looking for a discussion specifically on this. It’s not really a game very well suited for 2players, the strategy is completely different and who starts becomes too important. I really hope it’s changed for next season. At least 3p, preferably 4p.
