I've got 120 games of Knarr under my belt and still suck at it.

If you have over 300 ELO and have time, please share you Knarrly wisdom with me and the other noobs like me who are looking to get better.

What are your do's and don'ts? How do you make decisions? What do you look for and what do you avoid? What's your recipe to success?

Thanks in advance 🙏

It's disappointing that no one is willing to share what works for them. As the world champion of 2 other games, I've made posts to lift up fellow players and happily take the time to respond to the DM's of players looking to improve. 👎

Sorry i didn't saw your post earlier, and my english is quite bad so i hope you will understand x).

We have already played several games together and I have played in a similar way in those: I increased the reputation points as a priority, it is a slow but very effective method if the opponent does not advance very fast.
another method is to do trips in a loop, in your travels you try to have green helmets to chain them, then you have to have the possibility to have enough bracelet to earn the victory points by trying to maximize the VPs on the first 2 columns to maximize the points (a recent game I gained 7 victory points with 2 bracelets, the last lap I gained 14 points by adding the trip I made).
After that, you always have to adapt to your draw and the trips available.

I don't consider myself a pro player but I hope I helped you.

Hello,

I will give you some infos from the things i noticed while playing hundreds of games now. I don't presume in any case i am a master but i've observed some strategies that can take you closer to victory:

General infos:
- i don't think tere is a 100% victory strategy, it all depends on the cards and adversary
- try to spend as least helmets to buy cards. Do it only if you need a card that will give you a strong advantage
- don't keep too many cards in your play board to have to discard when the deck is empty
- of course, spend your helmets and bracelets when you have 3 so you don't get more that you can not stack
- there is a critical moment when you have to spen your cards for explorations. If you miss it and you start too late you will be left with cards in your play board and you adversary will be at 40. If you start too early you might have no way to won points when you approach 40. You feel better this moment by playing

Strategies:

1. If you play with the extension try to use it as much as possible, they are a key advantage.

2. If you get early in the game lots of prestige points you are set to win: for that get the two blue prestige or the the two yellow prestige fast in the game and stack the same color fast to reach at least 3 threshold on the prestige lane fast.

3. Keeping the bracelet cards from your enemy will handicap them, especially if his strategy is to buy exploration

4. If you buy early in the game exploration (with victory on them, especially on the first two paths), try to get the two card of bracelets from red or purple and stack on them so you can always trade for points and helmets.

5. For advanced game, the one with a point on first path and a bracelet on the third, see strategy 4, it is very efficient, or playing with greens to compensate for the lack of elements.

6. There is also the strategy of looking at the B explorations , and if there is one that gives 8-9 points, to stack cards of those colours and buy them fast. I don't use it but i know some players do that and it works sometimes

7. There is a strategy in which you buy fast one of the two purple A explorations that give you a random card. And you constantly trade for extra random cards that you after spend for more explorations. This circle of "get card-spend card- get one two extra bracelets" and repeat cand be very satisfying and successful. I enjoy it but it works 60-70% of the time, especially with non-experimented players.

I hope it helps,
Say hi if you meet mee in the bga games
