Improve Transparency of Gurus

It currently isn't easy to understand why you don't become a guru despite having high activity in a game. It would be great to understand how many games you need to play to become a guru.

My first suggestion is to publish a list of all current Gurus and the number of games they've played during the past qualifying period to see the target.

My second suggestion is to make it transparent about how the vote for the next Arena season is going, so that it doesn't come as a surprise to 99% of the community.

The guru system is obviously a mess. They need to change it to inviting top 100 elo players of the game. The whole point about arena is to competiting at the highest level in the most competitive format. Top 100 elo players would definitely represent that better than top 100 most active players. Who thought it was a good idea for the top 100 most active? That's pretty ridiculous. If I play 100 games per day in any ranked format and keep losing or winning less than 30% of the game, I am qualified to decide how EVERYONE competing in the upcoming Arena Season???

My advice is to:
1) Search for an active report for this idea in the Bugs and Suggestions database (accessed by clicking the "Community" link, then the "Report a bug, or make a suggestion" link). If one exists, post a link to it here so that it is easy to find and upvote.

2) If no active report exists, create one, then post a link to it here so that it is easy to find and upvote.

This is how suggestions actually get in the system, not merely musing about it on the forum. That doesn't mean it will be acted on soon or ever (the dark mode request has almost 900 votes and is over four years old), but it's the first step.

Corbz makes a great post and polite, logical point as usual. I upvoted the bug report. Let's get some more transparency on BGA. Great work Corbs. Best wishes.
