Exploding kitten defuse always pute it to very top?

so me and someone I know were playing exploding kittens but when they defused 4 total times each one set it to the VERY next card, is that normal or not?
Wrong forum... try Exploding Kittens instead!

Perhaps ask in the dedicated EK forum channel, then you’ll get other EK players who are knowledgeable about the gameplay.

Well, the post is now in Exploding Kittens forum, must have been moved.
I had the same problem with the very first game I played:
drew the exploding kitten card, defused it, was asked to put it back into deck - but could not adjust deck position slider. tried entering a number, tried clicking, drawing the slider - nothing worked. What am I doing wrong?
