If anyone is interested in working on 18RoyalGorge on here, please lest me know. we'd like to get the game on here, especially since there are no other 18XX games on here.

A couple of us replied in the old thread (https://boardgamearena.com/forum/viewto ... ge#p191692) but a few things are still not 100% clear. For developer reference:

1. Are you the designer / publisher, so that you can give digital rights for this game? (I am guessing you are the designer Scofield, per your username, but was not sure)

2. Is this a request for quotes, or seeking a volunteer developer? I ask because the 18xx train genre is quite complex in terms of map routing and rules details, so this is not a project I would expect a casual volunteer to pick up.

*edit* I should also clarify, in part BECAUSE there has not been a game of this genre on BGA thus far, there is no existing framework for it. That can make development harder than implementing a game on a platform already designed for it.

Still waiting for a response to original questions

Likewise, I'm interested and I replied within 24 hours of your original posting, but received no response.

I'd love to hear more details on this. GTSchemer has developed nearly a dozen games on BGA. I'm coming up on a couple dozen. We're both experienced and eager to hear whatever you're willing to share.

My apologies guys. I thought I would get a notification or something when someone replied, but I never got anything. Another user, kindly pointed out that you had replied. Yes, I'm the designer.

I also agree that this would be a fairly complex build, and would happily pay, although, not a lot. We didn't make a ton of profit off the kickstarter, but theres enough to at least offer a small bit of compensation.
