I'm playing a tournament and I have finished all my games, except for three, where it appears to be rather likely that these won't be finished in time. I've been rather quick at responding whenever it's my turn, but I was wondering how the winner is decided on these three remaining games, when the time runs out for them (or me, for that matter)?
It's a turn-based multiple-day event.

It sounds like you're in a round robin. I think it works similarly to how it is determined if a player will advance to the next round in other formats, but someone who plays round robins should clarify this.

(a) If the maximum time allowed for the entire round reached, i.e., the game runs out of time as opposed to an individual player running out of time and being expelled, the player with the most time still on their clock will win.

(b) If an individual player runs out of time, but no one expels them, nothing happens automatically. Things continue until either the game finishes according to the rules of the game, or the maximum time for the entire round is reached (see (a)).

(c) If a player out of time is expelled, all other players are considered tied and the oldest account will win.
