ELO points calculation

Hi, can someone explain how your ELO is calculated? I've sometimes lost by just one point and have had up to 27 points taken off my ELO, whereas other times I've lost by more and yet have got ELO points added. Does anyone know how exactly your ELO is affected by the game result? Thanks!

This is addressed in quite some detail in the
FAQ. Feel free to follow-up if something isn't clear after reading it.

Additionally, it is much better to reserve a games-specific forum for posts about that game only, not about how BGA works generally. This is the Splendor forum, let's not clutter it up with posts that aren't about Splendor. Those belong in the main "Discussions about BGA" forum.
