It's very discouraging, and boring, when the score is 5000 to 300. It's not even much fun for the winning team. Please bring back the option to quit a game after the first or even second round. Thanks for considering!

Early end or not is decided in Arena via voting by the gurus.

Personally I will likely not vote to bring back early end until BGA allows Raving Wanderer to implement a change that requires both members of a team to agree to it. I'd rather play out a game I'm likely to lose, rather than have a partner quit after only one round or when we are less than 2k behind etc....

Maybe the gurus would consider proposing early end to game after the second round, agreed by both partners, with at least a 3000-4000 margin. Thanks!

Unfortunately they can only propose existing options. Mutual agreement is very wanted/needed, but unfortunately BGA has not to my knowledge approved any changes to allow this.

You could try boosting this bug report to see if we can get mutual concede implemented...

I'd be happy with the current "single player concede" provided that their partner doesn't lose points and ranking despite being powerless to veto...

I have code that implements a voting mechanism for early game ends. It needs to be introduced in a phased way because I don't want to upset the functioning of long-running turn-based games. But change is coming.
