Arena matchmaking

I understand that waiting for match very long could be frustrating. But in the other hand being forced to play against a player with complete different skill level is probably even more bad.
WHAT IS THE PROBLEM?
If I had ~600 ELO, I really don want to play against someone who is 100. In standard play I can decline such match, but in Arena I can’t.
WHY IT IS A BIG THING?
In Arena players usually search not for a casual game, but want to play competitive and reach better position. That is the reason of existence of Arena.
1. In such big difference in rank, better player can’t really win any point, but potentially can’t loose many, especially if game has a significant luck factor. This is frustrating.
2. Even more important: Despite the result, this game is probably not fun much. I have no pleasure with beating up someone who is just a beginner.
EASY TO SOLVE?
If waiting time is main reason that such games starts, maybe it is possible to add an option so I want to play anyone or strictly only around my skill level. After all most of the games have Planty of options to choose that drastically affects search time.
