How does the "move meeple" ]0×49[ special ability work on BGA?

I'm not sure whether it's a bug or me not understanding the interface, but I can't use the ability that allows me to move one of my meeple to a different location.

Does anybody know and can tell me?

I got to the point, where I clicked on my meeple and it blinked. Then I clicked on the target location (occupied by another player), and it also blinked. But instead of my meeple moving, I was only able to abort the action.

I'm playing on a tablet, if that matters.

Thanks!

The interface was very confusing but I managed to move my meeple. Make sure you first place your meeple off your player board onto the map, then the game will give no indication that you can move your meeple but you're able to click any of your meeple that's on the map and then click an empty spot for it to move to.

In case this is related, I kept trying to do the move to a large city, but apparently you can only move them to small cities. The interface didn't give me any feedback that what I was trying to do was not legal

For all 2ry moves on any civ, ensure you have the HELP visible in option to highlight the buttons.
Depending on your platform you may not be able to activate these options without the highlight.
