Board Game Arena

First, the website was completely crashed and nothing came up when I went there. Then I could never go to a game I started. Quitting the game I couldn't play cost me serious karma. I don't see anywhere an explanation; I would think it would be on the welcome page.
What happened?

It was a BGA service crash. Your penalties have been cancelled.
