Ability to download the match files in all types/modes of games

Why are we NOT allowed to download our own games match files that we played in all modes, especially Arena Mode?
This ability is so we can study our own mistakes and get better using known tools/software like XG (eXtreme Gammon) which is used by all high level players and pros around the world.
We should NOT be restricted from downloading the match files unless BGA has something to hide?

I have been playing backgammon for over 30+ years and all the sites I have ever played on allow us to download our match files after the game
(e.g., Backgammon Galaxy, Backgammon Studio Hereos, SafeHarbor Games), etc)

Please advise
Thank you

The feature is available ("export to .mat" in the game settings) but isn't on by default. I've already started a thread here to request it be turned on by default. Maybe add your voice to that thread: https://boardgamearena.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=40646

Yes you CAN download the .mat files when you do a NON Arena mode game (SIMPLE) but when you play in an Arena Mode game of BG you CANNOT change the setting to get your .mat files.
I like to play arena games more than simple games but this restriction is a HUGE hinderance since ALL OTHER BG sites allow you to get the match file no matter what mode you play in

this is not acceptable
