please help me identify this loading screen source

When I play BGA, particularly Ark Nova, I do my turn, and then I go open another tab to read social media, etc, and I come back, and I get this loading screen for 5-10 seconds. It's really annoying. I am wondering whether it is specific to BGA's implementation or not.

It's a black screen with a grey circle loading animation. I use Firefox, so I was wondering whether it was some function of Firefox, or if it is some caching mechanism. I just want my game of Ark Nova to stay active, and not have to reload from cache or whatever is going on when I switch to a different tab for 10 seconds.

Here is the loading image: https://i.imgur.com/kveR07s.png

(Incidentally, I've troubleshooted tons of other loading/caching/inactivity issues with Firefox and resolved most of them.)

Ah, I found it.. Apparently it is the changing of Firefox to a new process when each tab runs as its own process.. And for some reason BGA/Ark Nova takes a long time to load to the process.... I wish I could fix this. It's so frustrating that I can't just keep the game/tab active in memory all the time.
