Had someone want to have a access to audio chat during a game. Tbh, not really my thing plus its late at night and I don't want to wake the house up. I just want to finish the game so I rejected the request.... He then made the request another 7 times and then finally conceded the game.

Is that odd behaviour or am I being a bit paranoid?

It's almost certainly an accident because there is a hotkey button you can touch, if I recall correctly. I'm not sure but it might even be clickable on mobile phones.

It's somewhat odd, but they are within their rights to ask (if a bit pushy about it) and you're within your rights to refuse. It may well be an accident as GTSchemer says, and they conceded because they couldn't figure out how to stop doing it. Although, most people don't have this problem, and I'm guessing if there is a hotkey, it's not super obvious (unless for example their keyboard was broken and stuck on it), as I've never known about it or accidentally pressed it.
