Is there a way to 2 hand a solo game?

I'm aware of the hotseat feature, but it only works with a different account. Can I just play some coop games 2 handed by myself?
For example: Forbidden Island

Set it up as a 2-player hotseat game and make all the moves for both players.
You don't need a separate account, you just need to make up a second name.

It's not a second account, it's just a name for the second "player". You can write whatever, it doesn't need to be an existing account.

When I clicked on hotseat the prompt is to enter a username ("What is the username of your hotseat friend?"). I've tried with my own username, but kept getting declined cause user already exists. Turns out typing something random works!
Or I accidentally randomly typed an existing user and borrowing their profile.

I just use "Player 1" or "Demo 1" or something. I've never actually hot seated with another real person.
