Board Game Arena

My most recent game last week had to be abandoned early due to severe lagging issues. Same thing happened today. All other games on BGA are working just fine for me. Any ideas on how I can clear up this issue? Has anyone else noticed this?

It was fine yesterday, but today wingspan was lagging for me as well. All other games I've tried seem fine.

Same here, but only on my phone.
I disabled animations and shadows and now it works fine.

I had a laggy game of wingspan and a laggy game of terraforming mars. Both 5 sec delay on every input.

...Wingspan is not lagging but extremly slow... rolling dice runs like slowmotion yesterday it needed three minutes per move... no drama (I play turnbased) but not enjoyable. I use a Android phone.

Everything is fine - may it's the mobile? - I use a computer (google Chrome)

Try hardware acceleration, and any browser updates if required.

Now it is happening to me, first in Terraforming Mars (not too big of a deal, maybe 5 seconds lag, and still plenty of time to complete a 2-action turn.

But in my recent Wingspan game ...... OH My.

the lag was 10+ seconds for EACH thing I needed to do, and I had a middle row with a lot of things to do. The lag got worse.
Rollin the dice for my hummingbird resulted in the dice-rolling animation going in ULTRA-SLOW-MOTION, literally taking 40+ seconds.

I was over the time limit on every turn; my gracious opponent did not penalize me. (Karma, right? Opponent ran out of time making starting picks, I ignored it and eventually the player made the picks and the game proceeded. )

Is there a way to disable the animations and confirmations when playing Wingspan? I do not need to see the dice rolling, or the bird card flying to its spot, or any fo that nonsense. Seems to be what slows the game down, or, exacerbates a slow-down if it is occurring for some other reason.

If you're on Chrome V133 and are experiencing Performance Issues or Laggy Interfaces please update to version 133.0.6943.89 or later. A buggy Chrome v133 was released recently but has since been fixed.

Yes, under Preferences in the Options tab.
