Board Game Arena

Trying to join a game of catan, and get this message "Sorry, this table has been closed and is no longer available." in a red banner.
I can only try and start a game myself, never join. What am I not understanding

Honestly, the table joining is a bit buggy and sometimes you just have to try for a while untill you manage to join a game.
You can try to refresh the page, and it might show that you joined the table.

That error message also occurs when the table you are attempting to join has filled up before you joined.
