Board Game Arena

Hi,
I saw a poll on trictrac discussing about BGA.
I bought The Boss, Seasons and Seasons extension, takenoko, Libertalia, after playing it on boardgamearena.
I had aleady some other games that I play : can't stop, caylus, Gosu, puerto rico, Kahuna, and My friends got near all the other when we play in the club.
And I will probably buy Time Masters. (When I was decided to pledge on it, it was ended!)

What about you?

I don't buy games often but if I would buy something it would be something that me and my gf like. We have Tzolk'in (before it appeard on BGA), and my gf bought me Dragonheart (i play so much she decided that I have to have this). I won't buy Puerto Rico - I like it much but my gf doesn't and mostly I would have to play alone
But I surelly gonna buy Hive and Northwest Passage (I'm waiting for polish publishers ) and even my gf won't block this idea! This games are too good!

I bought Takenoko after discovering it here. A month after I introduced it to my (physical world) gaming group, I saw two more copies showing up on a regular basis.

I saw Takenoko on the "WatchItPlayed" youtube channel, and liked what I saw, but I finally decided to buy it after playing several games here and knowing the feeling would stick.

Same here. I always had a poo-poo attitude of Puerto Rico and Caylus. Before I ever played on board game arena, I had played a physical copy of both games with friends before but never liked them.

After playing these games on Board game arena, I had bought myself a game of Caylus and saving my money for a game of Puerto Rico.


I think Board game Arena is a great place to introduce people to games.

I have answered question before but i forgot why i bought seasons! I bought it only because my gf looked at me playing it and said that she want's this game. She was asking me for a long time and we finally bought it and i love this game much but i would never bought it myself. Why? Because after playing it here i hated this game - I always forget about some cards, I put my first year cards into 3th year etc. Playing in real world is much easier for me, maybe because i use 17' screen on laptop, so it's probably this one thing that BGA made me hate

I have just bought 6 Nimmt! I have not played it before joining BGA and now I am totally hooked on this crazy, chaotic game which is so funny (and sometimes frustrating) to play.

I bought Trajan, takenoko, season, coloretto! Troyes and i will buy the boss, Jaipur and 6 nimmz.
But i'am sure where i will try the others i will buy all
