Board Game Arena wish you a Merry Christmas!

This year, thanks to Amigo Spiele, we have the honor to introduce a fantastic new game on December 25th: 6 nimmt!, a game from Wolfgang Kramer.

6 nimmt! is a very famous family game, also known as "Take 5!", "Take 6!", "Category 5"... This is the ideal game for Christmas time: very simple, very fun, can be played by everyone, and can be played up to 10 players.

Rules are really simple: each players gets a hand of 10 cards (numbered 1 to 104), and at each turn everyone is choosing a card at the same time. Then, cards are placed in four rows on the table, with the following rules

• Cards are placed from lo lowest to highest.
• Each card gets moved to the row where the last card has the lowest difference in value.
• If (unfortunately) you place the 6th card in a row, you take all cards in this row and loose as many points as bullheads printed on collected cards.
• If you can't place your card anywhere (its value is too low), you must choose a row and take all cards in this row.

... the game end when a player gets 66 bullheads and the player with the less bullheads win the game!

Of course 6 nimmt! is way more fun when you are 4 players and more, and we recommend for this game to be as many players as possible.

Although this game seemed that it is for yong children and really boring, this is wrong.This is thr reason why I changed my message .Firstly I felt disappointed becasue I was waitin for other games.After playing 2 games I understood it is really funny.It is a different type of games (it is small,affordable and funny game) that bga players are not used to it but they are very nice too.I really want to thank bga team that works a lot and so we can play games without paying and with different players from all over the world!!!! I also want to say a huge THANK YOU to amigo that created this game.

Maybe we are really april fools and they will announce Agricola is online for boxing day. It's a joke, of course, very funny, i get it. Ok, now, when can we play Agricola, the real family game.

I've played this game live, and I quite enjoyed it then.

Why are people complaining that the gift they got wasn't good enough for them? Where does it say that even if you donate, BGA is required to produce new games? Come on, people. Enjoy what you have, and stop complaining about how it could be better for you.

I think this is one that if you play with more than 5 players it's way too lucked based and almost 0 skill based
With 5 it stops the same row being took 2 times in one round

For a very good skilled based game you can try 2 players with tactics with just 24 cards being used and all of them being used every hand.
I am yet to try the advance settings and the pick cards before games start settings.

Didn't this used to be on BGA? Then was taken down because the company didn't reply to a request from BGA to allow it?

I remember it being a fun game to play.

@Oedin: indeed the game was available a long time ago in the website that preexists before BGA ("TEL"), and for which we didn't ask for authorizations. This is also why it's a great and kind Christmas gift from Amigo Spiele
