There are many bug reports about this, but watch out for it while playing:

Sometimes, when I complete a box, the game gives me the points and ALSO credits my opponent. If I refresh, the scores are correct. But there have been times when I thought I was losing a game, refreshed, and I was in fact WINNING. I notice it if my opponent suddenly has 70 points.

The developers haven't done anything to resolve this and it's a real pain. Be aware!

Yup, makes it so confusing. It will say a player has completed 3 cards with an astronomical score. Refresh and they actually only have 1 complete.

Ohh I'm glad I found this. The game I just played it said my opponent had 70 and should have beaten me but then it said they had 60 in the final score and I was super confused.
