I've got 56 Prestige according to my profile, but because my ELO for Saboteur and Coloretto surpassed 1600, I received 100 Prestige for each game. Why isn't that displayed in the total prestige on my profile?

Like with the everything in BGA you have to wait. I think only ELO is updated for the whole time

Any idea how frequently the update happens?

Don't know how it looks like with this one, but I'm pretty sure that it takes minutes, sometimes maybe hour. It is possible that it is updated once a day, but i don't think so.

You don't receive 100 prestige per game when you reach over 1600 elo. You get 100 elo for obtaining the good player badge and if you lose it, you lose the elo that goes with it. Next time you go over 1600 rating see how much prestige you have.
