How do I save a solo game?

I keep playing the first several months of this game(and high is still amazing and I’m having a blast!) but whenever I shut things down and come back the next day the game has ended and I must start over?
It sounds like you're maybe starting the table as a Real Time game instead of as a Turn Based game? I've kept Turn Based game tables up for months.
