I noticed the "Automatic Mode" creates a table based on my preferences and waits until someone else join it, but what happens if someone else creates a table that matches my preferences? Would BGA make me automatically join that table?

Or them join yours, yes. It would be be silly otherwise.

This doesn't fully answer my question. Of course others can join my table manually. The question is whether the automatic BGA feature only creates a table for me, or does it also simultaneously search for existing tables and make me join them if available.

I didn't say this only happened if they joined your table manually. I was implicitly incorporating the word "automatically" from your second question. You will be matched with anyone who indicates by whatever means that they want to play a game that matches your settings. The only thing that is not certain is whether you would be considered the host or them*, but in automatic matching I don't think that difference matters because the only practical benefit to being the host is that you can expel people before the table fills, but only in manual mode, not automatic mode.

* I see you are not currently premium, so for premium games you won't be the host even if you "started" the table first. See the discussion beginning on page 2 of this thread about the difference between creating/opening Premium and regular tables as a non-Premium member.

I've gotten thrown into 2 games lately that I have never agreed to join. I recently played in a tournament - did that turn automatic mode and force me into random unwanted games?

did you finish the tournament? most tournaments consist of multiple games played in rounds. when a round finishes for everyone involved in the whole tournament, the next round starts for everyone.


I've had turn based tournaments last months.

NO. tournament has nothing to do with auto mode.
