Can’t select multiple tasks

My friends and I are playing a 3 player game on mission 5 with 2 tasks. I’m surprised that we can’t select multiple tasks if we would like. Each player can only select 1, which is making the game harder. Is there a way to change this?

Well, I reread the rule book for a third time and you’re right! I’m not sure why it took me so long to read the rules correctly. Thanks for the help!
