Board Game Arena

Hi everyone,
I like to track my bga live games on bgg via a statistics app, but I cannot seem to find this one, no matter under which name (or looking for Yoann's designed games). Is there a reason for that or is it listed differently?

BGG doesn't allow solitaire puzzle games, but I'll try submitting it again.

Indeed, bgg does not allow the registration of solo logic games.

That's a surprise, because previously I've found Orchard on BGG and I've used it to look for a few solo games. I guess this is specifically about logic games since there's an overlap with video logic games and it's too difficult to define non-video board games when it's pure logic? Oh well...

The bgg rules:

Solitaire Puzzles are Out of Scope
BoardGameGeek has a prohibition against solo solvable puzzles, such as Rush Hour or Rubik's Cube. A puzzle is an item such that a problem is presented for which a programmed solution is available. In Rush Hour, each of the puzzles has a solution. For a Rubik's Cube, there is a series of programmed moves for any configuration that brings about the end solution.

Note that solitaire games are in scope. If a game has random elements (outside of set-up) or hidden information, so that no programmed solution, it is not considered a puzzle, and may be in scope (if it also complies with the other criteria).

Also, if a game has a randomized set-up that will lead to a different game every time (i.e., it's unlikely that you'll run into the same set-up twice), it is also not considered a puzzle.

Notice that in this case, it's strange that my games "Puzzlegends" are on bgg.

I didn't read further than what's quoted or claimed in this thread, but I now wonder about their policy for solved games, like Connect 4 (which I just checked and found on BGG) or Nim games.

Well, now I know why it wasn't on BGG. A bit sad IMO.
