You might want to post a link to it so no one has to go hunting for it.

Hi, some comments since you posted on the general tournament board and I provide tournament advice here. I assume you’re referring to this tournament:https://boardgamearena.com/tournament?id=370211

You will want to cancel your tournament and create a new one if you want good attendance and a good time for everyone. Plan farther in advance and adjust the time/player settings.

Your tournament starts March 12, less than 2 days from now. That’s a really short signup window for a low traffic game.

I would make a forum post on the Con Sonar BGA forum as well if you want to promote and also invite the leaderboard players manually.

Your tournament settings might need some serious adjusting. 4 player games take VERY LONG to complete in turn based, always longer than you think because there is never any good flow with all players online at the same time. 3 days completion is impossible. Remember tournaments are fixed time, no added time.

How many turns does each player need to finish a 4 player game? I saw recent games that took 14 turns each for 2 player. For a 4 player game if it’s the same number of turns that’s 56 total turns/moves in 72 hours. So all players would need to play EVERY MOVE within 1-2 hours of their turn for 3 whole days, no sleeping, breaks, any life for all 4 players. That’s not a realistic pace for 4 player, you would probably need 15 or 30 days honestly. If you want to play faster than that you will need real time games.

Does it need to be 4 player games? Game duration needs to be 4x longer than player. If you do 2 player games instead you can use 5 day game duration for a ~14 turn game and have everyone complete their games comfortably. 2 player tournaments run a lot smoother from my experience.
