Locking Decks for Tournaments

I understand that BGA was not originally designed for a TCG, but it is what we have right now, so we should make the best of it.
However, there are some issues with using BGA for tournaments in in-person events, such as not being able to change the scores. Even for online tournaments, there is a glaring issue: the ability to change decks. I am not referring to tournament rules disallowing it, but the fact that it is technically possible to do so.
Sure, some tournaments, like AWOL, state that you will be banned if you do this, but I could just create a new account. The fact remains that the current tournament would still be affected.
What I would like to see, if possible is for the option to lock a copy of your deck when you register. Kinda like in Pokemon where you lock in your Battle Box.
This way, you can still make changes to your current deck and wouldn’t have to keep a copy of its current version (especially for turn-based tournaments). Not to mention that you might accidentally misclick on your deck and inadvertently "cheated."
