Dear Board Game Arena players

We're delighted to announce that the server outages we've been experiencing over the last few weeks, mainly at peak times on Sunday and Monday evenings CEST, seem now behind us!
It's been a long journey for the technical teams, not only to expand the capacity of our servers, but also to monitor, analyse and resolve the many problems we've encountered in the past. We had to rebuild a highway so that you could all enjoy online board games.

We've spent countless hours, in the evenings and at night, keeping a close eye on previous bottlenecks. Our servers and many unseen elements have been upgraded.
It's been a real challenge and as you are a growing community, we'll need to continue to ensure that all your gaming sessions can be enjoyed over the long term.

We still have a few small areas to improve, and scheduled maintenance will take place this Thursday morning. It will be announced on the home page.

The devs putting new games on the site and many others get their well deserved credits for visible work, but the work of the operations team only gets attention when there's s problem. If all goes well, their work is indeed unseen, invisible to the users.

When you announce the outage tomorrow, I think it would be a very good occasion to thank your ops team in the same way as you thank designers, publishers, devs and tutorial creators in the regular game announcements.
