Kingmaking/cheating

Is there a way to get people banned, or do more than just my red thumb? I played a game with * and * - they are unquestionably playing together. Others have posted on there profile to accuse them of the same and it is undeniable.

*Moderation Edit: please do not use the Forums to call out specific tables or players by name, this is what the Moderation Reports are for. The Forums should remain a general discussion.

Yes, accusing others in a public forum is a possible way to get you banned...

Please read the "Important Forum Moderation Notice" that's posted in this an many other forums.

Yes click on report on their profile, then select multi account/boosting reason and list all proofs you have, like X move at X timing (you said there were no reason to make that move), their history of games together, the complaints from other player on their profile from months ago etc.

Play four player games. You'll have a buddy too then. Or significantly more likely just not end up in games with these players who just play three player games because they're easier to control.

The point being, that I have never encountered such a thing. Because why would you? If all you want to do is rig games and fake a high rating it is easier and faster to do it in 3 player games, where the game itself is quicker and you need less fake accounts/coordination to set up your rigged games.

so your answer to cheating is to... just find a "buddy" and do it yourself? I'm glad you're not in my game group.

I think an easier solution is: if you've played with ANY other player (in a ranked game) two times in a row you should be banned from playing with them for 10 ranked games (for EACH player)

I think you have misunderstood. By buddy here I simply meant a fourth player who is not to the 'team' playing against you, and is likely to help keeping the robber on the 'team' slots because they are winning and people tend to block the leader.

You're taking this too literally.

wow! you must be playing a different game or with hand-selected groups because the pick-up games I get into... let me tell you, the players are NOWHERE NEAR as sophisticated as you seem to believe they are.
