The theater card is very fun but if a player build it in a game with the marshal it will be impossible for the second player to win it.
Is-it possible to remove the card from 2 players game ? Or at least 2 players game with the marshal ?
What do you think ?

I agree, but I wonder, why marshal is the issue? the biggest issue are the games with the witch and the theater.

Agree. Not sure about marshal. May be theater should be used in two players games only with Magistrate (because opponent can play around with this role ability in contrast to witch` or assassin`).

Yes, it's barely playable, especially when someone gets it at the beginning — particularly in games with the Assassin, Witch, Blackmailer, or Thief. Actually, Citadels isn’t well balanced for 1v1 play with special cards. There are several issues with it in that format. Getting the Laboratory or Gold Mine early usually leads to an almost uncontested win.

The best solution would probably be to add an option before the game starts to remove unbalanced districts like the Theatre, Gold Mine, and Laboratory.

I said Marshal because he's the only unable to change things, the other 8 can steal or destroy it and it put some pressure that can be use by the player who have no theater.

In the game with the witch, there's no way to put the pressure on the player with th theater. Whenever I picked the witch you can pick warlod, but no way you will distroy my theater.

Or to play with the OG special cards but that will never happen :(

It is difficult if the theater comes out in a one-on-one match, but there is some destruction method. When the theater is activated, the other character is randomly received, so when selecting a character, a general or diplomat is directly selected or excluded. If the theater is activated and the first selected character is replaced, you should aim for the next turn, but if the second selected character is replaced, the opponent's theater card will be threatened, so you will inevitably face a dilemma. You also have to target card number 7, which can increase the chances of selecting an arsenal, or quickly build eight buildings. need to find what we can do in adverse situations.
