1) Please tell me. How these Scoring maps work. If I understand correctly, does The Broken Road only work on the left half of the map?

2) Coastal space.
On the map, the river and the field are drawn diagonally and there is a cross, as if it is forbidden. The river and the field cannot be connected, but the rules specify that adjacent cells (spaces) are not considered diagonal. Does this mean that I will get points if there is a river + a field diagonally?
This is probably a stupid question if, for example, I have 5 rivers and 0 fields. Then I'll get 0 points for this card, since there are no fields here, right?
3) Shieldgate. If there is only one area of the city, will I get no points at all? Or if I have 3-4 cities, a long 5-4-3-2. Then I'll get 4 points right?
4) Great City. Can I build only one big city here, or do I have to have a second smaller one?
5) On map B. There's a big gorge in the middle of the map. Is this gorge considered the edge of the map or a penalty spot?
So Shoreside Expanse, a field or a river, can be placed next to the gorge?

yes, your image shows the only lines that get points from Broken Road
2) Coastal space.
On the map, the river and the field are drawn diagonally and there is a cross, as if it is forbidden. The river and the field cannot be connected, but the rules specify that adjacent cells (spaces) are not considered diagonal. I'm not sure exactly what you mean, but adjacent is only the four tiles in the cardinal directions, not the diagonal tiles. For Canal Lake You get a point for each lake tile that is adjacent to any number of fields, and each field adjacent to any number of lakes. Fields on their own won't get you anything for Canal Lake.
3) Shieldgate. If there is only one area of the city, will I get no points at all? Or if I have 3-4 cities, a long 5-4-3-2. Then I'll get 4 points right?
Correct. Think of Shieldgate as two cities that you're trying to keep roughly the same size. This one should score huge if it's in Fall/Winter.
4) Great City. Can I build only one big city here, or do I have to have a second smaller one?
One big city.
5) On map B. There's a big gorge in the middle of the map. Is this gorge considered the edge of the map or a penalty spot?
So Shoreside Expanse, a field or a river, can be placed next to the gorge?
It's considered filled space, but not of any terrain type. So it's not the map edge. For Shoreside you can place lakes and fields next to it. For all the "shape" edicts, like Broken Road and Borderlands, it counts as filled space, which makes the B map higher scoring than the A map generally. However for Greengold Plains (cities next to three different terrain types) it doesn't count as terrain. So it's filled space, but it's not terrain.
