Is there a way that I can disable chat entirely? It should be a very common feature for the site! I do the same thing on chess platforms simply because the interactions are more on the worse side and a lot of times you just want to play and lots of times, you are not able to chat and type on keyboard and not answering people and replying can make some people very uncomfortable, let alone all the abuse and translations issues there are. All that can be solved with a disable chat button for the in-game chats.

If your developers are fancy, they come up with an additional option next to disable chat to express emotions through emojis, etc. non-verbally. Thank you.

Not without using third-party extensions or other customizations. Read here, for example.
