Aloha players!

Verdant is a game designed by Molly Johnson, Robert Melvin, Aaron Mesburne, Kevin Russ and Shawn Stankewich, illustrated by Beth Sobel and published by Flatout Games.

VERDANT is a puzzly spatial board game for 1 to 5 players. You take on the role of a houseplant enthusiast trying to create the coziest interior space by collecting and arranging houseplants and other objects within your home. You must position your plants so that they are provided the most suitable light conditions and take care of them to create the most verdant collection. Each turn, you will select an adjacent pair of a card and token, and use those items to build an ever-expanding tableau of cards - your home. You will need to keep various objectives in mind as you attempt to increase plant verdancy by making spatial matches and using item tokens to take various nurture actions. You will also build your ‘green thumb’ skills allowing you to take additional actions to take care of your plants and create the coziest space!

I would love an invite !

Very excited for this. Played a lot on the web preview during the Kickstarter. Love to play it in person, but very excited to play the beta soon.

I would like to join the alpha.

Bought this cia original Kickstarter and it's a go to game for taking to play with new people. Easy to teach and learn, but with enough meat that it's still interesting and challenging for us to play. Beth's art is gorgeous as always. Excited to see it coming to BGA. Would be happy to alpha test if an invite came my way - but will definitely be in once it's beta released.
