Manic Gopher Game

Hello. I am exploring designing some games and was wondering how to get them more well know and out to the public. I currently have 4 in the works. I have protypes for 3 of them and would love to try to get one of them up on BGA. I was also wondering if you all have any suggestion when it comes to making sure that images are copyright safe to avoid copyright infringement. Well here is a short sell/sheet on the basic rules of one of the games. Any help with promoting it would be appreciated.

The file was too large to upload so here is the text below.

Manic Gophers

Play Time <30 mins
2-8 Players
Setup
Place both the vegetable deck (blue) and the action deck (green) in the middle of the table.
Each player starts with 4 action cards.
Gameplay
Start your turn by drawing a card from both the action and vegetable deck.
You have a hand limit of 7 cards.
The person left of the dealer goes first.
Each player can take up to 2 actions per turn
Actions (the same action can be done more than once in one turn)
Draw a card
Play a card
Discard 2 cards to pick up any card in one of the discard piles or to chose 1 out of the first 3 cards from either deck.
End game conditions
There are 4 possible ways to end the game
Collect 8 different vegetables
Collect 6 of the same vegetable
Immediately win if one is able to obtain the farmer, his dog, his wife, and their kid in one's hand.
Go through the entire action or vegetable deck a determined number of times (1 or 2 times is a good suggestion)
Game End
Once game end is triggered, finish the current round then players score up their points.
Point system
1 point for each vegetable in one's garden
2 points for each end game condition met at game end.
2 points per specialty win card in hand, e.g., 2 for Farmer, 2 for Farmer’s Kid etc.
3 points for triggering end game

BGA has recently explicity stated prototypes are not welcome in the platform. Their implementations wouldn't go more than private alpha until the games are published. About the images, I'm not a publisher/designer, but I guess most them just hire an illustrator or graphical designer to handle that. If you head into some board game design communities, people could share their experiences.

The rules you posted sound promising though. Good luck with your games!

By 'explicity stated', there has been nothing said on any BGA platform, like this forum. Direct questions on discord did not gain a reply.

And official projects here, has a project which is prototype:
https://app.smartsheet.eu/b/publish?EQB ... 54d94bc8da

That is not to mention a LOT more prototype projects in the BGA Studio available licenses.
https://studio.boardgamearena.com/licensing

As a lot of developers dabble with prototype projects. Myself included. I would very much welcome an official statement to this more than grey, grey area.

Note : Games that can not be bought will not be published at BGA. It will not go further than private alpha, so you'll only be able to play with your friends.
Updated by BGA in 2025 March 4th.
Also, thoun explicitly said on Discord that BGA now has the game project manager who will enforce this policy.
Afaik, most of the projects you mentioned were added before that point.
I'm not sure whether there are some prototypes bypassed the check or not though.
If you want the clarification to be added to the license list page, then you can send a ticket from the BGA studio support form.

Guess I'm out of work then, shame.

Sandbox platforms are better for testing prototypes anyway.
Also, public domain games with enough popularity, games published physically (including self-publishing and crowdfunding) and games to be published soon are still allowed, so I don't mind this much.
