How to balance for other players than the last one?

After many games I notice that the last player is clearly at an advantage, I don't know how to balance correctly - in real life - (bonus/penalty according to the turn order) so that it is balanced over the game. Has anyone tried this?

I don't see it as a that big advantage at the moment since I win most games even when I go first.
To balance the best option in my opinion would be to make as much rounds as there are players and everyone starts once.

I also think that the second move has a greater advantage
It would be better for both sides to attack first

Yeah and maybe do a two round game and add all the points to see who wins.

I agree with the sentiment that the last player seems to have an edge. But we checked the first stats and there is no evidence for now to be sure of a real advantage. So, this may be a pure sentiment, but we will monitor it with the number of good players rising we will have more data.
Meanwhile, a possible answer is indeed to alternate the first player for each game as it's quick to be sure the chances are balanced !

Yoann (and Jérémy which whom I exchanged on insta),
I fully agree on the imbalance. It's not only the W/L ratio, it's also the average point gap. After a hundred of games, I feel that I can only win by a short margin as a 1st player but a very large one as 2nd player.
Maybe this can be a solution, the first player gains a token valued 3 or 4 points (number must be fine-tuned so that the average number of points between both players are even).
And for more players, there could be a 2nd player token of 1 or 2 points so that he can fight evenly with the 3rd player.

Hello !
We worked about a competition mode for Symbiose (not yet officialy announced) for tournament and those who want to play more seriously the game.
The format will be 2 players-mode only with 2 rounds where players alternate going first. After both parts, the scores are totaled, and the person with the most points wins.
PS : Your idea 3615jeuxdesociete works also very well if you want to use it with homemade tokens!
