Abundance - Strange leaf interaction

Hello everyone, I'm just posting it there for the record. I dont think this is really a bug, even if i suspect it would not happen similarly in a real tabletop game.
I was in a tournament game (against MasterGaster, hello if you pass by o/), and I didnt played the first turns very well. As my opponent chose the green action, to avoid a non-planting turn, i converted one leef into a seed (into 2 soils).
Later in the game, we both completed the 3 same fauna objectives, and both missing the same last one. On the very last turn, I manage to complete my board before my opponent + complete this last objective. But I have only one leaf left.
I did not know what would happen. I checked Abundance rules on BGG. It says nothing about such a situation, but we can read : "Players should be aware that Leaves cannot reenter play—therefore, by converting a Leaf token into a Seed, a player will have fewer Leaf tokens available to claim Fauna objectives and/or the tableau completion bonus." This "and/or" let me think I could chose where my last leaf would have go. My goal was to steal the objective and cancel board completion for both me and my opponent.
Well, we discovered that the game put my last leaf on the fauna objective, as intended, and my opponent (whom have completed it on this same last turn) get the second position of that objective. But, at the same time, my opponent also get the 11 bonus points for board completion, even if he was not first to complete it (we did it at the same time, but it was my turn).
So it is possible to get the 11 points of board completion without being actually the first to complete it ! And now you know it too
