I love this expansion. And I love that BGA and its developers actually accomplish good work here compared to the debacle of the game on [other platform].

Yes, my playgroup discovered this today. We hadn't been expecting it and so rushed to try it out. It's still Beta but seemed quite solid to me. Well done, developers!
Though I'm puzzled that they haven't done Venus first. It makes the floater cards seem lonely. And have the cards with Venus effects been left out or what?

Speaking for myself is exactly what I was doing. In my opinion, Venus Next is not a good or interesting expansion.
Part of the point of my post though is that I don't see why Venus should or needs to be done first before colonies.
The colonies expansion works just fine without Venus.
