Can you give us an option to see how the map looks like with all the buildings removed? It can be important for the cards taht move/remove buildings.

What cards would it affect apart from Reconstruction combined with Excavation Site end game?
I guess also Reconstruction and Build 4.
Not what you're asking for but there's a workaround on PC to see what's under buildings.
You can make it so enclosures and buildings become translucent when the mouse hovers over them.
Edit: It actually works on Android phones too (I assume it does on Iphone?). Just tap on the enclosure and it becomes translucent.
To do so, go to your preferences, advanced and add the following in the box:
.bgagame-arknova .zoo-board .building-container:hover { opacity: 0.5; }
The 0.5 after opacity can be adjusted to change how translucent the buildings become.
Please note I believe it stops you from being able to view bug reports in the forum.
You will have to remove it every time you want to view these.

I was thinking an easy way to implement this could be to add the image of the map to the pop up what explains the special rules of a map.
For the Cut Down ability this would be helpfull as well.
