Board Game Arena

On the tutorial I have reached the stage where it is teaching you how to exhibit a painting. These are the instructions:

"That's right, one of those 3 Gold cards can be used to give +8 coins towards exhibiting a painting. Use the special ability of that card by clicking on the special ability section, and also spend the 2 gold card and the painting. Click exhibit when you've selected all 3 cards."

I have clicked all 3 cards, including the bottom of the gold card specified, but after doing so and clicking the "exhibit" action button, I get the following message:

"You must select a Painting from your hand and an invitation marker from an Exhibition."

I have tried clicking other things, like the various painting styles in the museum area, but I can't get past this particular part of the tutorial. What am I doing wrong?

You may ask the author of the tutorial. You can find their name at the beginning of the tutorial.

I eventually figured it out. First you must click the painting you want to exhibit and the museum invitation, then click the "exhibit" button. Then after you do that, you pay the cards neeeded to cover the exhibition costs. I was trying to do it all together like the "acquire" action.

I was just stuck at the same place, only couldn't click the exhibition tile. At least, nothing happened when I did. Tried restarting the tutorial which has often helped, but not this time.

The implementation of the game, specifically the IU, seems sub-par. Like, you can pay with cards normally or use their special abilities, but there's no UI indication between the two. Think I'll pass on this one.
