Will the developer consider adding the expansions?

I'm mostly looking forward to the Erie Railroad. For those that don't know of it, it's a 1-share railroad that opens up when players hit one of 4 cities in the middle of the map. It also makes the game end condition change into 4 companies running out of shares rather than 3. It makes 5-6 players better.
Narrow Gauge is also interesting, but I don't find it to have much use for most games I've used it. Might be used more for 5-6 player games when people null more to slow down strong trains.
I've never played with the Nickel Plate expansion, I wonder if it's impactful.
