Most people are probably playing it turn-based.

Lack of confirm, undo, and auto-pass make this a hard sell even for people like me who LOVE the game. That's even before the unaddressed bugs.
Fortunately, there's a new implementation that fixes all of that. Hopefully a playing community will grow around a properly functioning implementation of the game!
