Board Game Arena

I'm in a tournament game, and I have a Brew of Feather Touch. There is an arrangement where a row of the slide track contains a red marble with a ghost ectoplasm marble either side of it. The rules say that ghost ectoplasm can be used a marble of your choice of color "at any point during the game". So it appears that I should be able to consider those two marbles as red and use my potion to take all 3 marbles.

Within the game, if I click on one of the ghost ectoplasm marbles, it asks me to assign a colour but does not place a green circle around it to indicate that I have selected it, the way it does for ordinary marbles. So it looks like the potion will only allow me to take the single red marble, apparently in contravention of the rules.

Does anybody have any information about this? Has anybody tried something similar and knows how the game behaves? Do I understand the rules correctly? Thank you.

I believe you understand the rules correctly.

If I'm recalling the implemented mechanics correctly, you have to separately assign a color to the white marble and select the marble, for each of the white marbles, so it's five different operations (two color assignments and three selects, two of the selects being from the white marble menus) to indicate how you want to treat the three marbles and select them to use with feather touch. That said, I haven't had occasion to do exactly that, so it's possible that there's a bug triggered somewhere in that collection of actions.

Thank you. So the thing I failed to understand this morning was that, after assigning the colours to the white marbles, when I click on them again and the colour-choice menu comes up again, I have to click "select" to get the green ring to indicate that the potion will work.
