Board Game Arena

It would be helpful in Saboteur if the messages said "playerX digs a dead end" or "playerX digs a curve" instead of the repetitive "digs a path" message. If you miss a couple plays you have to ask who played which card. I'm sure all players would agree this would be a good change.

Well, I am not so sure whether this is good idea. Spotting and remembering who did what is part of this game. Not to mention that you should name each tile. Vertical T, horizontal T, curve up, etc - none of these exist a in original instruction and in a box game. So the basic solution would be - pay attention and do not leave the table

Actually, if you played the box game it's not an issue, you can see when someone's arm goes forward and plays a card. And yes, I agree all the cards would have to be named.
