in my first round of my first game i got two 8s and only two 8s.
i wonder have someone get busted with two 2s?

Sunday in a RL game, I busted with 3's.

With a freshly shuffled deck.

94 cards in the deck. In a three player on a fresh deck there are 3 cards played -> 91 cards left. If you have a “2”, there is a 1 out of 91 chance you bust. If you have an “8” and no other player is showing an 8, your chances to bust are 7 out of 91 or 7.7%. Frustrating but not “unlikely”
And yes I have busted on double 2s.

I've got worse luck than that. Your first card is "second chance". Someone else's first card is "Freeze" and they play it on you.

I busted yesterday with two 2s.

How about busting on 2’s three days in a row!

First game I played, we were playing recklessly and also had bad luck. It lasted 14 rounds. My Dad had 0 for the first 7 of those rounds. He kept busting immediately so many times. Double 8s. Double 5s. Double 10s. Double 11s.

I ended up laughing so hard my stomach started cramping. Very painfully. I had to lay down on the couch, stick a pillow under my back, and wait for the pain and clenching to calm down before I could continue playing. And while I'm suffering I'm thinking "If I actually have to go to the emergency room and explain to them 'My dad was so terrible at a card game I laughed myself into gut-ripping cramps', it probably won't be the dumbest thing they've heard but it will be a story".

Fun fact : I played just after reading this thread and got wayyyyyyy too much bad luck kept busting!

I had a game where I busted 4 times with the first 2 cards: with 8s, with 2s, with 5s and with 6s.....and I still won
