Option suggestion: lead player can't take 2nd Chance

I think it's definitely more interesting if there's more risk involved for the lead player, and being unable to take 2nd chances would be way more interesting to me. Not to mention, there's nothing more fun-killing than being behind and watching the lead player get a second chance or two. I don't think the lead player should have to give it away, but at the very least discard it. This would also incentivize a perhaps more risky strategy of staying in 2nd place.

Not going to happen if it isn't in the rulebook. BGA only imply rules that are offical.

Plus it would ruin the core game. It's a push your luck game, which means you win some and you lose some. This game is not designed to be nice, fair and friendly. Rather the opposite.

Not true at all! Lots of games have alternate play options on here that aren't found in the rulebooks. Just a question of whether the interest is there and the developers are open to it.

And this I don't think anyone would be interested in because that take to much strategy and risktaking out of the game. Noe if the lead player gets a second chance the second player either stay put and secure second place or risk it to take over the lead. And also a second chance doesn't mean much if the deck is full of 11 and 12s in the end. You are more likely to bust quickly

That's not up to the developers, but to the company owning the game rights. Sometimes they agree on some variations, true. But more often not.
