Due to me setting up the matches for 10 days, a lot of them timed out. I'll make sure to have this be a little bit longer next time. We ended with 25 good matches to base the data off of. (22 were scrapped away due to time out or something else)

The logs don't show this, but Paths were chosen randomly and we were on B (async) side.

First, Average Score By Player. It's quite interesting seeing how much Era 5 and 6 differ.

By Round: It's very fun to see that you can expect around 20 extra points on Era 6, then an additional 10 points on Era 7. Maybe it's worth to have some of these sorted out by path? You can see that on the google sheet link above.

High Scores! While I did have 103, I was only able to achieve that with someone passing towards the end. But overall these scores are quite impressive!!

Game Ended In Era X scores. Player 1 winning in Era 5 peeks it's head out once again. It's very interesting how much more consistent it is compared to player 2. I think adding in "who went first after impact" could also be very very interesting.

Average Score by Faction. Dominance and Harmony still coming out strong here. I personally had a lot of rough games as Progress.

Code: Select all

Path of Dominance | 76.23 (σ 15.83) | 17.46 (σ 6.85)
Path of Harmony | 75.09 (σ 16.96) | 19.64 (σ 10.34)
Path of Progress | 68.14 (σ 15.75) | 14.93 (σ 5.90)
Path of Salvation | 69.92 (σ 19.21) | 17.67 (σ 6.79)

Buildings, sorted by times used. 307/308 come out strong once again. 201 is very popular but that doesn't surprise me with many factions using resources for mechs.
114 finally got a lot of love this time around. I still think it gives just too much flexibility with warp tiles in addition to many points.

20 extra points in Era 6 partially come from bigger evacuations. I'm more surprised about 10 extra points in Era 7, when the well is almost dry. But then, if both players decided to continue to Era 7, it means they have ability to score more points.

114 saves resources and a build action (you get two power plants in one). It's the best power plant in most cases.

You need to get neutronium efficiently for NRC to really shine.
I personally got wrecked by Archive of the eras twice.
Heh, that's why when you do Research action and don't have a particular goal in mind, always go for Square Time Breakthrough. Just in case ;)
